To me, a film is a living organism—it needs space to breathe and the strength to stand on its own.
Achieving this requires a balance of craft, openness, and an understanding that the different aspects that make up a film are inseparable. Whether it be editing, writing, or directing, no piece outweighs the others; together, they shape a film’s identity.
As a collaborator, I believe in taking the work seriously without taking ourselves seriously. My goal on any film is to foster ego-free communication, close attention to detail, and a creative environment where every team member feels valued.
